MRTC TO MEET JULY 24 2017

The Merrimack Republican Town Committee will be having a regular meeting on July 24, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Merrimack Town Hall Memorial Room.

On the agenda will be a discussion of MRTC's Strategic Plan through the 2018 Election.

State Senator Sanborn is our tentative guest speaker.

The meeting is open to all registered Republicans from the Town of Merrimack. Those interested are encouraged to use the sign up form to get meeting notices.



REMEMBERING JOE THOMAS

Joseph "Joe" Darst Thomas, 82, of Merrimack, NH, loving husband of nearly sixty years to Doreen (Jaeger), passed into eternal life on Monday, June 5, 2017, after a period of declining health.

He was born in Washington, D.C., on March 7, 1935, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Alice (Darst) Thomas.

Joseph was a former NH State Representative from the Town of Merrimack. He was an industrial engineer and was known for his great humor and his ability to light up a room when he entered. He was also a fourth degree Knight of Columbus.

Surviving members of his family include his wife, Doreen; a son, Joseph D. Thomas, Jr. (Sheila) of Sterling, VA; a son, Stephen M. Thomas (Chrissy) of Hooksett, NH; a son, Scott F. Thomas, of Wakefield, RI; and a daughter, Suzanne M. Sepe (Brian) of Lowell, MA; and grandchildren, Nicole (Michael), Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Annemarie, James, Monica, Ellen, Mark, Thaddeus, Joseph, Ciara and Jamie; and step-grandchildren Caitlin, Lauren, Kristen, Addy and Max. He is also survived by his sister, Jane (Thomas) Ericson, of Warrenton, VA, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial calling hours will be held at St. John Neuman Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH, on Thursday, June 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Neuman Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH, on Friday, June 9, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John Neuman Church for Catholic Charities, or to the American Cancer Society , in memory of Joseph D. Thomas.
